Location: (Hybrid/Remote)
Duration: 10-12 Weeks (Summer), Semester-long, or Part-Time
Pay Rate: Competitive Hourly + Opportunity for Full-Time Conversion
About the Role
In tech consulting, we don't just build solutions; we tell a story about how those solutions change business outcomes. As a Technical Marketing Specialist Intern, you will help translate complex technology into compelling narratives that win new client deals.
You will work alongside our Pre-Sales team, Solutions Architects, and Content Leads to produce high-impact materials like case studies, whitepapers, demo videos, and webinars. You will learn how to leverage real-world implementation successes to build trust with potential enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Draft and edit technical articles, case studies, and blog posts that showcase client success stories and industry trends.
Pre-Sales Enablement: Build "Battle Cards," competitor comparison guides, and pitch deck assets to help our consultants close deals faster.
Technical Writing: Simplify complex solution architectures (e.g., Cloud Migration, AI Integration) for marketing audiences without losing technical accuracy.
Research & Trend Analysis: Monitor technology trends and client pain points to propose relevant content topics for the quarterly editorial calendar.
Social Media Management: Manage our firm's LinkedIn presence, posting updates that highlight thought leadership, project milestones, and team wins.
Event Support: Assist in planning and executing webinars, industry roundtables, and conference booths (e.g., AWS re:Invent, Microsoft Ignite).
Review & Compliance: Proofread all client-facing collateral against NDA guidelines to ensure no sensitive data is inadvertently published.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Business, Engineering, or Information Technology.
Tech Literacy: You do not need to be a coder, but you must understand core concepts (APIs, Cloud Basics, Data Security) well enough to discuss them accurately.
Writing Skills: Strong command of professional English; able to adapt tone for both technical audiences and C-suite executives.
Portfolio: Must bring a link to writing samples (blogs, essays, articles) or a personal blog/GitHub that demonstrates communication skills.
Curiosity: A genuine interest in how technology solves business problems (e.g., "How does a data lake help a bank prevent fraud?").
Preferred Skills
CMS Experience: Familiarity with WordPress, Drupal, or HubSpot CMS.
Design Tools: Basic proficiency in Canva or Figma to create simple graphics to accompany copy.
Analytics: Understanding of GA4 basics or how to track engagement on marketing pages.
Industry Knowledge: Previous experience covering SaaS, FinTech, or Tech Consulting topics is a plus.
Why This Internship Matters
Direct Impact: See your content appear in sales decks that help us sign million-dollar contracts.
Cross-Functional Network: Work with the Engineering team (who build the tech) and the Sales team (who sell it). You become the "bridge."
Thought Leadership: Opportunities to guest-author on industry newsletters or speak at local tech meetups with firm mentorship.
Career Pathway: Exposure to Content Management, Product Marketing, or Technical Program Management upon graduation.
The Consulting Mindset
Precision: We cannot use buzzwords; every word in a case study must be accurate and defensible.
Confidentiality: You will sign a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). If you publish content, it must be vetted by the Security team.
Storytelling: You are not just selling software; you are selling transformation, resilience, and growth for our clients.
How to Apply
Please submit your resume and a writing sample (or link to your portfolio/blog)
Note: Generic applications without writing samples will not be reviewed.
