About the brand:
This is a Bengaluru-based fashion-tech company building a Gen Z women's fashion brand powered by AI. We read cultural signals as they emerge — street style, music, memes, the small details people notice first — and turn them into wearable designs in weeks rather than seasons.
Backed by Arkam Ventures and Antler, we are a small, founder-led team that runs design, production, branding and customer experience in house. Less forecasting, less waiting, more right now.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Social Media Marketer to build our social presence from zero to one. Our page is only days old and our brand launch is around the corner, so you will shape how we show up online from the very first post — the content, the creators, the campaigns and the community. You will report into our Brand Marketing Lead and work closely with the founders and our creative partners.
What You'll Do
- Own and grow our Instagram presence from the ground up, and extend into new platforms as we scale.
- Build and run a social strategy that genuinely resonates with Gen Z women.
- Plan and manage the content calendar end to end.
- Concept and shoot reels, stories and short-form video, and handle basic edits in house.
- Identify, onboard and manage fashion, lifestyle and micro-influencers who fit the brand.
- Run influencer campaigns from outreach and negotiation through content approvals and delivery.
- Write captions, hooks and campaign copy in a distinct brand voice.
- Track reach, engagement and conversions, and use what you learn to sharpen the next campaign.
- Partner with the founders, the brand marketing lead and our creative agency on launch and rebranding work.
- Build an engaged community by talking to followers and starting conversations.
What You'll Bring
Must-Have
- Hands-on social media work for a fashion, beauty, lifestyle or e-commerce brand — or a personal creator page with a real, engaged following.
- Experience working with influencers or creators — or brand collaborations on your own page.
- Comfort shooting and doing basic edits on short-form video, with links to work you have made yourself.
- Comfort being on camera for women's fashion content.
- Sharp copywriting and storytelling instincts.
- A genuine read on Gen Z culture, fashion trends and what makes people stop scrolling.
- Street-smart, out-of-the-box thinking and the drive to own outcomes without being chased.
- Comfort with a startup pace and a six-day in-office week through our first year.
Good-to-Have
- Your own content page with a meaningful follower base.
- Experience taking a brand page from zero to its first real community.
- Exposure to YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, Reddit or X as growth channels.
