ABOUT SALESMONK
SalesMonk is an early-stage AI startup building an AI-native GTM platform. We’re a small, high-ownership team that moves fast, keeps processes lightweight, and values people who can take ownership and execute independently.

THE ROLE
We are looking for a People Operations Specialist to own day-to-day HR operations and help us build simple, scalable people processes as the team grows.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working closely with employees, founders, and new joiners, while keeping everything organized and running smoothly.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Onboarding, preboarding, and exit processes
• Employee documentation, letters, records, and HR trackers
• Leave, attendance, payroll inputs, and employee data
• Background verification and compliance coordination
• HRMS and people-process management
• Employee queries and day-to-day People Ops support
• Engagement initiatives and internal communication
• Supporting hiring and recruitment operations when required
• Building simple SOPs and improving existing HR processes

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 1–2 years of experience in HR / People Operations, preferably at a startup
• Strong attention to detail and comfort managing multiple moving pieces
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving, low-process environment
• Someone who takes ownership rather than waiting for instructions
• Familiarity with HRMS, Google Workspace, Notion, or similar tools

BONUS POINTS

• Experience supporting recruitment or onboarding
• Exposure to payroll, compliance, or HR policy creation
• Experience setting up HR processes from scratch
