Job Title: Systems Engineer (C++ or Rust)

Location: Austin/TX OR Sunnyvale, CA

Experience: 8–10 Years

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ and Rust, along with experience working with modern data infrastructure technologies such as LanceDB, Apache Iceberg, and Velox

Required Qualifications:

8–10 years of software engineering experience with strong systems programming background.
Expert-level proficiency in C++ and/or Rust.
Experience with distributed systems, storage engines, query processing, or database internals.
Hands-on experience with LanceDB, Apache Iceberg, and Velox.
Strong understanding of operating systems, memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Experience working in cloud-native environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
