Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: New York City or San Francisco
Work setup: Hybrid, 3 days per week
Compensation: $175K to $225K base + equity
Employment type: Full-time

We are hiring a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer for a fast-growing fintech and healthcare technology company building AI-powered financial infrastructure.

You will work directly with senior technical leadership and own product initiatives from initial problem definition through production deployment.

What you’ll do

• Build full-stack product features using React and Node.js
• Own projects end-to-end from architecture through production
• Develop systems supporting payments, billing, claims, and revenue workflows
• Build secure systems handling sensitive financial and customer data
• Work closely with Product, Operations, and other non-technical stakeholders
• Make architectural and engineering design decisions
• Break ambiguous problems into clear technical solutions
• Help shape engineering standards and product direction

What we’re looking for

• 4 to 12 years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong production experience with React
• Strong backend experience with Node.js, Rails, Flask, or a comparable framework
• Fintech, payments, billing, healthtech, or related experience
• Experience building systems that handle sensitive data
• Strong end-to-end product ownership
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Based in or willing to relocate to New York City or San Francisco

Hybrid schedule is 3 days per week in the office.
