The Role

Responsibilities
• Work closely within the analytics team to develop and maintain Velocity’s analytics stack for Growth and KAM teams.
• Possess adept knowledge of reporting dashboards that give timely relevant insights.
• Own the quantitative and qualitative narratives of the business function that enable the overall health.
• Ability to implement advanced analytics solutions in an efficient and scalable fashion.
• Use data to help management and operations identify and escalate business issues and opportunities.
• Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree from a Tier 1 institute (IIT / NIT / BITS / IIM or equivalent).
• 2+ years of experience analyzing product and business using analytical and problem-solving skills, ideally at a Fintech, Internet, or Ecommerce company.
• Strong with first principle thinking and applying analytics to real life business problems.
• Proficient in SQL or any relational database with experience working on large datasets and pipelines; alternatively R/Python are good to have.
• Expert in extracting the descriptive and predictive insights from data.
• Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
• Communication skills to engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively communicate the results of the analytical solutions.
