Data Generalist

Responsibilities

1. High level: Helping us make sense out of data and find hidden patterns.
2. Sanitizing and organizing data in our warehouse on a regular basis.
3. Helping build workflows in tools like Klaviyo, Gumloop, etc.
4. Taking up projects and performing end-to-end execution.
5. Demonstrating a proactive, 'figure it out' attitude without relying on management for guidance or task assignments.
6. Help application engineers with making robust data decisions when building the product.
7. This is high ownership, high velocity and highly demanding job.

Skill(s) Required:

• PostgreSQL
• Posthog
• Klaviyo
• Airbyte
• Metabase
• Ruby on Rails (not required to write, but you will be required to read and understand application code)

Requirements:

• You think you are sharper than your peers – able to see and understand systems (objects, devices, people, organizations) you see around you.
• This role is only available to candidates with proven work experience. We are looking for 10x engineers only. If you do not have relevant experience, do not apply.
• You will be required to learn Ruby on Rails within 30 days. Understanding is important for the success of this role.
• You ask good questions. Lack of knowledge is fine, ignorance makes a question bad/dumb.
