Embedded Systems Intern

We are looking for a highly motivated Embedded Systems Intern to join our defense technology startup in North Bangalore. The role involves developing advanced, indigenous solutions for defense, surveillance, and mission-critical applications.

This is an on-site position, ideal for final-year engineering students or recent graduates with a strong interest in embedded systems and low-level programming.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, and test embedded and low-level software.
• Work with device drivers, RTOS, hardware interfaces, and embedded platforms.
• Program in C, C++, ARM Assembly, and Python.
• Support hardware-software integration, system bring-up, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Apply Digital Signal Processing (DSP) concepts to embedded applications, including signal sampling, filtering, FFT/frequency-domain analysis, and numerical signal processing.
• Develop test programs and diagnostic tools and collaborate with hardware and systems engineers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Final-year student or recent graduate in Electronics & Communication, Computer Science, Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Strong academic record, preferably GPA/CGPA around 9.0 or above.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and basic proficiency in Python.
• Good understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, memory, pointers, interrupts, and hardware interfaces.
• Fundamentals of embedded systems and DSP, with an understanding of concepts such as sampling, filtering, convolution, FIR/IIR filters, FFT, and spectral analysis.
• Familiarity with ARM processors, ARM Assembly, and RTOS is desirable.
• Hands-on experience through academic or personal projects in embedded systems, signal processing, robotics, or related areas is an advantage.
