You will work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to robust software design, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to bring autonomous behavior to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize path planning algorithms (global and local) for autonomous navigation.
Work with ROS 1 and ROS 2 environments to integrate planning components into robotic systems.
Develop software primarily in C++ and Python, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Utilize multithreading techniques in C++ to enhance runtime efficiency and real-time responsiveness.
Collaborate with perception, localization, and control teams to ensure seamless data flow and system integration.
Conduct mathematical modeling and analysis to support path planning decisions and algorithm development.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system-level testing.
Contribute to documentation, tooling, and debugging for smoother development and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in C++ (C++11/14/17) with experience in multithreaded programming.
Proficiency in Python for scripting and prototyping.
Hands-on experience with both ROS 1 and ROS 2.
Solid foundation in mathematics, especially in areas like geometry, linear algebra, and optimization.
In-depth understanding of path planning algorithms including A, D, RRT, DWA, TEB, and their real-world applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Experience working in a Linux environment with version control systems like Git.
Nice to Have:
Experience with autonomous vehicles, mobile robots, or industrial robots.
