About the job
Windmason is expanding its energy-efficient HVAC solutions into the U.S. market and is looking for an experienced HVAC Sales Engineer to join our team in New York.
The successful candidate will help introduce and develop the market for Windmason’s Indirect/Direct Evaporative Cooling (IDEC) and other energy-efficient cooling solutions for commercial and industrial applications.
We are looking for someone who understands HVAC, knows how to sell technical solutions, can communicate confidently with engineers and decision-makers, and has the ability to develop new business relationships.
This is a technical sales position. The candidate should already have strong HVAC field-sales experience. Windmason will provide specialized product and application training for our IDEC technology in New York and/or Dubai.
About Windmason IDEC Technology
Windmason develops energy-efficient cooling systems designed to reduce the energy demand associated with conventional mechanical cooling in suitable applications.
Our IDEC solutions combine indirect and direct evaporative cooling principles to provide energy-conscious cooling and ventilation, with a strong focus on fresh-air applications and reduced dependence on traditional compressor-based cooling.
The technology can be considered for applications such as:
Industrial facilities
Warehouses and logistics centers
Manufacturing plants
Workshops
Large commercial facilities
Fresh-air and ventilation applications
High outside-air-load facilities
HVAC retrofit and energy-saving projects
Specialized cooling applications
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for helping customers understand where IDEC technology is technically and economically suitable and for developing projects from initial opportunity through technical proposal and commercial closure.
Key Responsibilities

-Coordinate technical questions between customers and Windmason's engineering team.
-Assist consultants and customers in evaluating IDEC against conventional HVAC alternatives where appropriate.
-Communicate the technical, operational, energy, and lifecycle considerations of proposed systems.
-Participate in site surveys and project assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong professional experience in HVAC field sales, technical sales, or HVAC business development.
- Good understanding of commercial and/or industrial HVAC systems.
- Basic practical knowledge of evaporative cooling and/or adiabatic cooling.
