Role Overview
We're looking for a Customer Success Executive (Sales) who enjoys talking to people, solving problems, and building meaningful relationships.
In this role, you'll guide prospective members through the Volunteer Yatra journey, support volunteers during their experiences, and work closely with hosts to help them achieve successful volunteer programs. You'll be the bridge between our community, hosts, and internal team, ensuring everyone has a smooth and positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Member Success
- Call and follow up with interested leads.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable volunteering opportunities.
- Explain the Volunteer Yatra membership, application process, and platform benefits.
- Convert qualified leads into paid members.
- Respond to inquiries through WhatsApp, phone calls, Instagram, and email.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and update lead statuses.
- Follow structured follow-up processes with prospective members.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
Volunteer Success
- Regularly connect with volunteers before, during, and after their volunteering experience.
- Assist on-ground volunteers with queries, concerns, and challenges during their journey.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly.
- Collect feedback and ensure volunteers have a safe, meaningful, and memorable experience.
- Build strong relationships with volunteers and encourage long-term community participation.
Host Success
- Build strong relationships with host organizations across India.
- Regularly communicate with hosts to understand their goals, challenges, and volunteer requirements.
- Help hosts improve their volunteer experience through guidance, feedback, and best practices.
- Ensure smooth coordination between hosts and volunteers throughout the program.
- Gather host feedback and work with internal teams to improve platform quality and operations.
Operations & Collaboration
- Work closely with the Community, Operations, and Growth teams.
- Track customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
- Share recurring customer insights and suggest process improvements.
- Help improve onboarding journeys for both volunteers and hosts.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in Customer Success, Sales, Business Development, Community Management, Counselling, or Relationship Management.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Strong empathy and problem-solving ability.
- Comfortable speaking with people over calls and WhatsApp throughout the day.
- Ability to manage multiple conversations and priorities simultaneously.
- Organized, proactive, and customer-focused.
- Comfortable using CRM software, Google Sheets, and communication tools.
- Passion for travel, volunteering, startups, or social impact is a strong advantage.
