Job Description:

We are looking for an IoT Developer/Consultant with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in IoT solution development, embedded systems, Python, and AWS. You'll be responsible for building, deploying, and maintaining IoT solutions on embedded platforms and cloud infrastructure.
Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy IoT applications on embedded platforms (Raspberry Pi, ESP32, or similar)
• Implement device-to-cloud communication using IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, or AMQP
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure for IoT workloads on AWS (IoT Core, Greengrass, Lambda, S3)
• Develop Python-based backend services and data pipelines for telemetry and sensor data
• Implement edge computing logic — local processing, filtering, and OTA update mechanisms
• Ensure IoT security best practices: device authentication, TLS/certificate management, secure firmware
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Docker, and AWS deployment tools
• Write clean, reusable code; conduct code reviews and maintain documentation
• Communicate technical progress and findings to clients and internal stakeholders clearly
• Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end IoT solutions.
• Ability to present Proof of Concepts (PoCs) effectively during client meetings.

Qualifications & Required Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in IoT development, embedded systems, Python, and AWS
• Hands-on with IoT protocols: MQTT, CoAP, HTTP/REST for device communication
• Experience with AWS IoT services: IoT Core, Greengrass, or equivalent Azure IoT Hub
• Proficiency in Python for backend services, scripting, and data processing
• Solid understanding of Linux OS — process management, device drivers, networking
• Experience with Git, Docker, and building deployment pipelines (DevOps basics)

• Familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and written communication skills
Good to Have:
• Experience with time-series databases (InfluxDB, TimescaleDB) for sensor/telemetry data
• Knowledge of edge-to-cloud architectures and OTA firmware update mechanisms
• Exposure to IoT security standards and device lifecycle management
• Python web development using Flask or FastAPI
• Familiarity with BitBucket or Azure DevOps
