SUMMARY

Designation : Embedded System Design Associate (Fixed Tenure)
Functional Area : Low Power Embedded System Design and Engineering
Location : Remote Acceptable
Tenure : 06 Months (Fixed Tenure)
Skills : Microcontrollers, EEE System Design, Programming, Hardware Hacking
Qualification : UG/PG with specialisation in Embedded, Robotics, System Design, Computer Science or Electrical and Electronic Systems.
Functional Area : Wearables, IoT Systems, Mil-Grade Tech, Electronic Systems
Compensation : Upto USD1.5k CTC Annually (Depends on your Experience and Education status)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be part of a team which conceives, designs, develops, and tests Product Prototype and Proof of Concept systems.
• MANDATORY Develops Schematics, High Level Design Documents, System Architectures and eBoM to support Product design and development.
• Be responsible for performing duties of experiential learning project(s) and related Electronics and Electrical Design.
• Be responsible for developing new Designs and/or enhancing existing product/prototype designs.
• Assist in Components selection and Designing schematics
• Assist in PCB design and PCB lay-out
• Responsible for Prototype board bring up, testing and debugging
• Create test plans & reports
• Resolve any hardware issues during the development phase
• Designing schematics and Interfacing wearable displays, battery systems, touch interfaces, audio systems, MEMS, Medical and algorithmic Sensors.
• Interact, understand and support Engineering requirements with Fabricators, Integrators, Manufacturers and Vendors related to Product development.
• Closely cooperating with Product Technology Development Team (Product Manager, Firmware, Embedded Software, Mechanical)

SKILLS

• PREFERRED Good Command of NRF/ESP/STM32/ARMv7/ARMv8 /x86 architectures and VARIOUS types of Low power controllers.
• Working experience in using IDE/IAR / Keil development environment
• MANDATORY Strong Understanding of various interface topology (especially I2C/SPI/UART/USB/Ethernet/Bluetooth/GSM/GPS)
• Works in both an independent and team member environment to meet product delivery goals.
• Working familiarity and understanding of Operating System internals , RTOS Internals and Linux Internals.
• Working Knowledge on Embedded-GUI (Graphical User Interface) like, LittleVGL, Persivmmonui etc.
• Experience in embedded systems design, Driver development
• Must have good knowledge of Bluetooth, BLE, Wi-Fi and wireless standards
• Candidates having experience in developing wearables (SmartWatch), Hearables (TWS, headphones) and IoT systems are preferred
• Hardware Hacking (Easily able to dissect Popular Electronics and breakdown, redesign or modify features and requirements)

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in Tech Product based Startups and Core-Engineering Companies, Hardware solutions, preferred.
• Previous experience in Wearables, IoT Device, Medical Devices, Diagnostic Systems, MIL-Grade Electronics, preferred.
• Willingness to learn new Skills, Self-Manageable and Motivated to succeed in Core Hardware.
