INTRODUCTION

We are inviting applications for the Firmware Development Senior Engineer (Fixed Tenure) position for 2026 from experienced embedded firmware engineers with a demonstrated record of product-ready code development, completed engineering projects, or major customer-reviewed firmware deployments.

This role is intended for engineers who have moved beyond academic or purely experimental firmware development and have experience taking firmware from requirements and architecture through implementation, integration, debugging, validation and delivery.

Minimum Experience Requirement — IMPORTANT

Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of relevant hands-on firmware / embedded software experience.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate at least one of the following:

  • Product-ready firmware/code that has been deployed or released.
  • Completed embedded firmware projects with defined engineering deliverables.
  • Major customer-reviewed or customer-facing firmware/code deployments.
  • Production, field, pilot or advanced prototype firmware successfully delivered to a product or engineering team.

Freshers without Product Development experience, Project Deliverable Execution experience, or demonstrable deployment of production-quality firmware need NOT apply.

Academic assignments, classroom exercises and basic microcontroller programming projects alone will generally not satisfy the experience requirement.

Candidates with career gaps or who are returning to technology are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate relevant prior firmware/product-development capability.

The role provides exposure to the complete firmware-development lifecycle, including embedded architecture, controller programming, RTOS, device drivers, wireless stacks, BLE Mesh, BLE Long Range, BLE Audio, location technologies, gateway/router communication, algorithm implementation, hardware integration, product validation and customer-facing engineering support.
