Python Developer

We are looking for a Python developer capable of writing APIs in a RESTful manner. The
suitable candidate for us will have excellent communication skills and meet the following
criteria -

1. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in writing restful APIs with python and related frameworks like FastAPI or Django Rest Framework or Flask.
2. Candidates must have good experience in building Chatbot using Google’s Dialogflow.
3. If the candidate has experience in Django Rest Framework then the candidate must be familiar with the core concepts like classed based API View and Generic API Views, Serializers and Model Serializers, writing custom Permissions Classes and signals.
4. If the candidate has experience in FastAPI then the candidate must be familiar with the core concepts like Requests, Responses, background tasks, router functions and dependencies. Additionally, candidates should have exposure to the python libraries like Pydantic, Alembic for managing migrations & ORM like SQLAlchemy.
5. Candidates must have experience in writing Unit test cases.
6. Candidates must have experience with libraries like Poetry for managing dependencies.
7. Candidates must be capable of identifying edge cases for the functionality to be developed.
8. Candidates must have a good understanding of RDBMS concepts and should be able to design the database schemas and write the complex SQL queries.
9. Candidates must have the ability to understand the business problem and accordingly suggest the solution for the same.
10. Candidates must have a good understanding of Object oriented programming with Python.
11. Candidates must have the knowledge to identify and deal with the database level concurrency.

Other good to have skills -

1. Knowledge of Docker and docker-compose.
2. Knowledge of Git and GitHub Actions.
3. Exposure to event driven microservice Architecture using Apache Kafka
4. Good to have exposure in cloud services like Google Cloud RUN, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Secret Manager, Google Cloud Functions, Load Balancer, Cloud Bucket, VPN, VPC and such.
