Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Contribute to application modernization and enterprise system transformation initiatives.
• Develop and support business-critical applications in banking and financial services environments.
• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS for deployment, integration, and application support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and product stakeholders.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated testing and deployment practices.
• Participate in data centralization and system integration initiatives.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js and React.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

• 8+ years of experience in .NET development.
• Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Hands-on experience building RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Experience working in banking or financial services domains.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies including Azure and AWS.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Frontend development experience using Vue.js, React, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Work mode: On-site, 4 days/week

Location: Montreal

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $70,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
