Full-Stack Mobile Dev Intern (React Native + Python)

The Opportunity
At Textify.ai, we are redefining how users interact with AI on their devices. We are looking for a Fresher / Junior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer who is eager to learn and grow while building clean, responsive Android applications using React Native and supporting backend APIs in Python.
This role is ideal for someone who has strong fundamentals, has built projects (personal, academic, or internship-based), and wants hands-on experience working across the mobile and backend stack.

Technologies (Learning & Hands-On)
Frontend: React Native, JavaScript / TypeScript, Expo Go, React, Next.JsBackend: Python, FastAPI, PydanticYou don’t need to be an expert in everything — we value strong basics and willingness to learn.

What You Will Do
• Mobile Development:
Build and enhance our Android application using React Native, focusing on clean UI, reusable components, and good coding practices.
• API Integration:
Consume REST APIs from the backend and handle loading, error states, and basic data flow in the app.
• Backend Support:
Assist in building and maintaining REST APIs using FastAPI, including request handling and response validation.
• State & UI Logic:
Manage local component state and basic application flow to ensure a smooth user experience.
• Bug Fixing & Improvements:
Debug issues across the mobile app and backend with guidance from senior engineers.
• Learning & Collaboration:
Learn best practices for performance, code structure, and deployment while working closely with the team.

What We Are Looking For
• React Native Basics:
Familiarity with components, props, state, hooks (useState, useEffect) and basic navigation.
• JavaScript / TypeScript Fundamentals:
Understanding of core JavaScript concepts and willingness to write clean, readable code.
• Python Basics:
Comfortable with Python fundamentals and basic API concepts (FastAPI, Flask, or similar).
• Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to understand a problem, ask questions, and try solutions rather than memorizing code.
• Willingness to Learn:
Openness to feedback and eagerness to grow as a full-stack mobile developer.

Bonus Points
Personal or academic projects using React Native or Next.Js and Python APIs.Basic understanding of how mobile apps communicate with backend services.Interest in AI-powered applications.
