About the job
About Fullcourt
Fullcourt is where hoopers find their run. Pickup basketball never fully recovered from COVID — group chats went cold, big-box gyms pulled their courts, and millions of people who played through high school and college quietly became
people who used to play. We're rebuilding that infrastructure: a mobile app where you can see your city's pickup scene live, find a run, and become a regular again. We're 70,000+ registered players deep (we'll be straight with you —
registered, not active; finding product-market fit is the whole job right now), concentrated in four cities, with engagement time per active user roughly triple the sports/social benchmark, creator partnerships pulling millions of
views, and pro-player-anchored live events weeks away.
The role
You'll be the first revenue person at the company, working directly with the founders — and you'll carry both sides of the motion. The closer side: our nearest revenue lever is sponsored runs — local and regional brands putting
product and presence into real games ("a branded ball in their hand, a sample after the game") — and you'll build that pipeline from zero to repeatable. The builder side: grassroots basketball is a fragmented world of leagues, gyms,
camps, and creators duct-taping Eventbrite, Venmo, and GroupMe together, and you'll turn those operators into partners — starting with league aggregation (free tools for leagues, shared sponsor revenue) and the gym and court
relationships that put real inventory in the app. Same cities, same relationships, one person who can both open the door and sign the deal.
What you'll own
- The first sponsored-run pilots — prospect, pitch, close, deliver, renew — and the path from $500 local runs to five-figure monthly anchor deals
- The first 8–10 anchor league partnerships in our four cities
- Gym, facility, and court-operator relationships
- Deal structure itself — pricing, rev shares, pilots, terms — invented with the founders, then made repeatable
- The map: knowing every operator, league, sponsor, and run that matters in our cities before competitors know they exist
Who you are
- A genuinely strong closer — you've carried a number and hit it — who also knows how to build partnerships where no playbook exists yet
- You've sold or done BD at an early-stage consumer or marketplace company, ideally pre-PMF, where you helped find the offer rather than run someone else's
- Maybe you spent years in larger tech and a reorg just handed you your shot at building something that matters to you — we'd love to talk
- You know basketball culture, or at minimum you love the game. You'll be selling runs, not impressions
This is a founding role for someone who wants meaningful ownership of a company

To apply: email [email protected] with subject "Founding Sales & Partnerships — [your name]". Tell us about one deal you closed before the company had proof it would work, one partnership you built from a cold start — and what
basketball means to you.
