About the job
As Technical Founder, you own the architecture, delivery, and evolution of our product from first prototype through scale, while partnering on company vision, strategy, and go‑to‑market. You combine hands-on building with leadership: designing the tech stack, shipping fast, talking to users, and turning insights into a resilient, scalable platform.
Core responsibilities
Lead end‑to‑end product development: prototype, MVP, and iterative releases based on user feedback and data.
Define and own the technical architecture, stack choices, code quality, and infrastructure reliability.
Ship quickly and pragmatically, managing technical debt while keeping the product stable and maintainable.
Engage directly with users and customers to validate ideas, understand pain points, and inform the roadmap.
Build and lead the engineering team over time: hiring, mentoring, and setting engineering culture and standards.
Collaborate on company vision, product strategy, and commercial priorities as a true partner, not just “the tech person.”
Contribute to fundraising, investor conversations, and key business decisions when needed.
What defines a strong technical founder
Product mindset: Think beyond code to user experience, market needs, and business impact.
Builder orientation: Track record of turning ideas into working products and iterating to product‑market fit.
Full‑stack literacy: Strong grasp of front‑end, back‑end, DevOps, and tooling needed to build and run the product.
High ownership: Treat architecture, reliability, and velocity as your responsibility, not someone else’s problem.
Leadership potential: Ability to grow from “hands‑on lead developer” into architect/VP‑of‑Engineering as the company scales.
