About the job
Asgard Aerospace is building the execution layer for aerospace manufacturing.
Today, production across the aerospace and defense industry is fragmented across thousands of independent facilities, with no unified system governing how work moves, how compliance is preserved, or how capacity is coordinated.
We are building that system.
Launchbelt coordinates how parts are routed, quoted, produced, and tracked across distributed suppliers, enforcing traceability, compliance, and production logic at every step. This defines how hardware moves from design to certified output.
We are assembling the engineering team responsible for building it.
Role Focus: Program Execution, Workflow Coordination, and System Alignment
Role Summary
As a Technical Program Manager, you will coordinate the execution of the Launchbelt platform across engineering, deployment, and manufacturing environments.
You will ensure that systems being built align with real-world workflows, that dependencies are managed, and that execution remains structured as the platform moves from development into live production.
This role sits at the intersection of software, operations, and manufacturing. You are responsible for ensuring that complex systems are delivered correctly and operate as intended.
What You Will Own
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across platform engineering, deployment, and operations
- Define and manage program timelines, milestones, and deliverables
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and execution gaps early
- Translate manufacturing workflows into structured system requirements
- Ensure alignment between backend systems, frontend interfaces, and real-world operations
- Track progress across routing, quoting, and production workflows
- Maintain visibility into system performance, issues, and execution bottlenecks
- Communicate program status clearly across engineering and leadership
What We Are Building
Launchbelt is a production orchestration system.
It operates at the level of execution, not visibility.
The system:
Coordinates production across distributed manufacturing facilities
Routes parts based on capability and constraints
Manages quoting and supplier interaction
Tracks execution across multiple independent nodes
Maintains compliance and traceability across every step
This system requires coordinated execution across software and real-world operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management or systems engineering
- Experience coordinating complex, cross-functional technical projects
- Strong understanding of software systems, architecture, and development workflows
- Ability to manage dependencies across engineering, operations, and external stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and risk management skills
- Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in software engineering or systems engineering
- Experience with workflow systems, logistics platforms, or operational software
- Exposure to manufacturing, supply chain, or aerospace systems
- Experience working in early-stage or high-ownership environments
- Familiarity with agile development and product lifecycle management
Work Model
Hybrid role based in Austin, Texas
Direct interaction with engineering, operations, and leadership
Involvement in both platform development and deployment execution
Compensation
Compensation includes a combination of salary and equity aligned with early-stage, high-ownership roles.
Final structure will be discussed with candidates based on experience, scope, and timing relative to hiring phase.
