About the Role
We’re looking for our first Key Account Manager, a proactive, customer-obsessed professional who thrives on driving growth from existing relationships.
As the founding member of our Account Management function, you’ll not only manage some of our most strategic mid-market customers but also build the playbook for how EquityList drives retention, expansion, and advocacy at scale.
You’ll partner closely with the COO and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Support to ensure our customers derive maximum value from EquityList.
What You’ll Do
- Own and Grow Key Accounts
- Serve as the trusted advisor for a portfolio of high-value mid-market clients using EquityList to manage their equity operations.
- Drive retention, renewals, and upsells, owning revenue and account growth targets.
- Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with C-level stakeholders to showcase ROI, identify opportunities, and strengthen partnerships.
Monitor account health and usage metrics to identify churn risks early and proactively address them.
Build Advocacy and Enable Growth
Partner with Marketing to develop case studies, testimonials, and customer stories that highlight value and drive inbound growth.
Own NPS for your accounts and build feedback loops with Product to influence roadmap priorities.
Become the internal voice of the customer, helping us refine the experience for mid-market and enterprise clients.
Design the Foundation
Develop the account management playbook, metrics, and processes for future hires.
Collaborate on renewal forecasting and pipeline visibility for leadership.
Define KPIs, success metrics, and expansion opportunities based on account potential and lifecycle.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
- 95%+ renewal rate across your book of business.
- A clear playbook for managing and growing key accounts has been established.
- Customer NPS consistently above 8.
- At least 2–3 impactful customer success stories published with Marketing.
- Predictable, data-backed renewal and upsell forecasting process in place.
What We’re Looking For -
- 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or Relationship Management in a B2B SaaS company.
- Proven track record of managing mid-market or enterprise accounts with revenue ownership.
- Strong understanding of customer lifecycle, renewal forecasting, and upsell strategy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — comfortable with CFOs, founders, and finance leaders.
- Data driven; proficient with Excel and has working knowledge of writing SQL
- Highly organized, data-driven, and proactive problem solver.
- Entrepreneurial mindset — you enjoy building systems and processes from scratch.
Why Join Us
- Be the first Account Manager — and shape how EquityList builds long-term client relationships.
- Work directly with the COO and leadership team.
- Influence product direction by being the closest voice to our customers.
Join a fast-growing SaaS company solving a complex, global problem in equity management.
Backed by leading investors and trusted by some of the most prominent startups across regions.
