THE ROLE The Commercial function at FARFETCH manages supply and pricing on the FARFETCH marketplace in order to drive profitable growth.Working across the business we deliver at-scale commercial programmes which drive benefits for FARFETCH, our customers, and our partners.Reporting to the Head of Commercial - Pricing you will conduct commercial analysis, working with colleagues from Marketing, Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Data Science to bring your strategic recommendations to life.The Pricing Analytics Manager will help scope out and drive projects that support the development of the overall pricing strategy globally as well as within key markets.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Produce relevant action-driven insights to be shared with the teams to drive business strategy, exploring opportunities to optimise pricing on Farfetch
- Analyse the performance of current pricing tactics across 3P and Managed Pricing merchants
- Analyse the potential impact of novel pricing tactics on our pricing, GTV and profitability and design tests to validate these assessments
- Prototype reporting for internal and partner-facing use, working with Commercial BI to build production versions (particularly for partner-facing reporting)
- Own pricing health metrics, covering competitive position, price consistency and price outliers
- Work with Merchandising and Marketing analytics teams on generate insights and solve problems at the intersections of price and customer / on-site behaviour
- Independently deliver bespoke pricing analyses
- Manage one Analyst/Senior Analyst, with potential to grow
- Scope, manage and execute end-to-end projects to improve our price position, with the support of key stakeholders in the business
- You will be the business partner to a large spectrum of key stakeholders from the business, in and out of the Commercial team
- Participate in broader commercial projects to answer questions shedding light on product and partner performances
WHO YOU ARE
- Experience in Analytics, e-Commerce or Consulting
- Technical skills for processing and analysing large amounts of data: Excel (advanced) and SQL (required)
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strategic thinker with an emphasis on operational and commercial excellence
- Ability to influence change in senior stakeholders
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- (Desirable) Understanding the fashion and luxury industry is a plus!
