Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing to identify and document bugs, issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and designers, to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and test coverage.
• Conduct regression, functional, performance, and usability testing on new and existing software features.
• Analyze test results and communicate findings and recommendations to the development team.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure testing is integrated into the development lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging QA tools, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or similar role, with hands-on experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate findings and collaborate with team members.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, or JavaScript) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar is desirable.
• Preferred Qualifications
• Experience testing web, mobile, and/or API-based applications.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments and tools.
• Certification in QA methodologies or tools (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Software Tester).
