QA Engineer / SDET

Responsibilities:

• Manual Testing: Conduct end-to-end manual testing to ensure product quality and functionality.
• Automation Suite Maintenance: Enhance and maintain the existing automation test suite, ensuring it remains up-to-date and effective.
• Test Case Development: Identify, design, and implement additional test cases to expand coverage and improve the robustness of the test suite.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to align test cases with feature requirements and resolve identified defects effectively.
• Automation Testing: Build and maintain automated test suites for continuous integration and delivery, including acceptance, performance, regression, and new feature testing for UI/UX components, web services, and various applications.
• Test Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for products and features, verifying functionality, performance, security, and scalability.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the overall quality of the product and provide evidence of release readiness.
• System Analysis: Analyze and decompose software systems to design complete system test strategies.
• Process Improvement: Continuously streamline and improve the testing life cycle to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting are effective, agile, and well-coordinated.
• Result Analysis: Analyze testing results to refine test plans and scenarios, utilizing metrics and benchmarks to gauge improvement.
• Defect Investigation: Proactively investigate and verify production defects, continually improving regression tests. Requirements:
• Must have 2 years of hands-on experience with Cypress.
• Strong knowledge and experience with JavaScript.
• Demonstrated understanding of QA methodologies.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, React, and Redux is an added advantage.
• Experience creating test strategies that are comprehensive, pragmatic, and scalable.
• Experience designing and debugging tests measuring performance and functionality under scale and load.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
