Seed-Stage AI startup seeking Growth Marketer

Thetawise is an AI math tutor that provides 24/7 math help to over 140,000 college students across the globe. We’re a 4 person startup, everyone on our team is technical, & we love building software that makes peoples’ lives better :)

About the Role:

As a Growth Lead at Thetawise, you’ll play an essential role in defining & iterating on our growth strategy and executing the day to day operations of said strategy. This process will include brainstorming and testing ways to help students find Thetawise as well as improving and expanding existing ways that students find Thetawise. The daily operations of this role depend heavily on what distribution channels end up performing the best at any given time, as those channels will then receive the majority of your focus.

What you’ll do:

• Grow Thetawise from 140k users to 1 million users and 10x revenue
• Scale up current growth channels
• Develop and implement consumer search strategies that drive organic traffic lift and take advantage of rising search trends & channels; you’ll monitor and guide content creation that addresses relevant consumer search interest.
• Analyze funnel stages to identify key drop-off points and new opportunities for growth; size opportunities to make sure we’re focusing on the most impactful experiments, whether they’re focused on acquisition, conversion, adoption, or retention.
• Identify, engage, and establish relationships with key content creators, influencers, and content partners.
• Work with creators to produce high-quality content that showcases Thetawise’s capabilities and value proposition.
• Experiment with new growth channels and hypotheses

• Required Experience: 1+ years working in a low certainty & low information environment (eg. prior startup founder , early stage startup employee, etc.) or 1+ years working as your own boss.

Desired Experience:

• 2+ years of experience with growth marketing, performance marketing and/or influencer partnerships
• Lots of hustle and willingness to learn new things
• Ability to move fast, iterate quickly and juggle multiple threads
• Familiarity with product-led growth strategies and in-product optimization techniques
• Growth Marketing
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with growth tooling like Google Ads Manager, Semrush, Meta Ads Manager etc.
• Bonus points: experience growing B2C or prosumer products
