MedGEO is seeking a UI-UX designer to play a crucial role in designing an efficient user experience for clinical and administrative users in various care settings. This role will focus on designing mobile and web applications that are both visually engaging and optimized for clinical environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles, as well as a background in designing for healthcare applications.
*Key Responsibilities: *
Wireframing & Prototyping: Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups to communicate design concepts and user flows for mobile and web applications.
Interaction Design: Design intuitive and efficient interactions that enhance the usability of our products for clinical professionals.
UI Design: Develop clean, aesthetically pleasing, and functional UI elements that are consistent with our brand guidelines and tailored to the needs of healthcare professionals
UX Research Support: Assist in planning and interpreting user testing insights, leveraging this research to drive informed design improvements without needing to conduct research directly.
Stakeholder Presentations: Present design concepts, rationale, and priorities to stakeholders, helping ensure alignment across teams.
Usability Testing: Plan and execute usability testing to identify pain points and areas for improvement, iterating on designs based on feedback
Compliance and Confidentiality: Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality and comply with relevant regulations as part of employment expectations.
*Required Skills and Qualifications: *
Minimum 5 years of experience designing mobile apps and web-based products targeting a large user base.
UX-Driven Focus: Demonstrated expertise in UX design, including user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Design System and Component Libraries: Experience working within established design frameworks and component libraries to ensure scalable, consistent design.
Effective Communication: Ability to present designs and effectively communicate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders.
Proven expertise in tools like Figma / Adobe XD
Additional Requirements:
Resides in U.S.
Permited to work in U.S.
Occasional travel to US based customer sites (hospitals / clinics) to research, observe user workflows.
