Clinical Informatics and Applications Manager

Role Summary:
We are looking for Manager of Clinical Informatics and Applications will oversee a talented team of informatics professionals, driving the effective utilization of electronic health records (EHR) to improve patient outcomes and support clinical operational goals. This position demands a skilled leader with exceptional communication, teamwork, and project management abilities.

Core Responsibilities:
Lead and guide a team of informatics professionals, fostering a culture of excellence in the deployment and ongoing support of EHR systems.
Advocate for software and product enhancements, ensuring comprehensive training for users and staff, while maintaining a focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
Partner with the Executive Director to define and execute both short-term and long-term IT strategic plans, advancing the organization's Clinical Informatics initiatives.
Oversee the Clinical Informatics team, ensuring the provision of full-spectrum informatics services across the hospital.
Act as a liaison between clinical staff and the IT department, facilitating seamless communication and support for clinical IT systems and processes.
Cultivate strong partnerships with clinical vendors, positioning Valley View Hospital as a leading site for their clinical product offerings.

Requirements
Education: A Bachelor s degree is required; a Master s degree is preferred.Professional
Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical hospital environment preferred.
Proficient in software tools including word processing, spreadsheets, development platforms, internet applications, project management, healthcare informatics, and database management.
Experience with clinical application dictionary configuration and support tools.
