About the job

About RitualRitual is a personal health brand that is building the future of daily essentials. Our mission is simple: we help turn healthy habits into a Ritual. We started by creating the first visible supply chain of its kind and reinventing the daily multivitamin from the ground up. Now, together with some of the world’s leading scientists, researchers and advisors, we’re developing a new standard of high-quality, traceable daily products across new categories. Hundreds of thousands of customers across generations trust us, and we are growing quickly. We’ve built a team of over 120 (and counting) curious skeptics, world-class scientists, unconventional artists, expert marketers, and analytical strategists. We’re venture-backed and based in sunny Los Angeles. If you’re looking to challenge the status quo and be challenged to do the best work of your career, join us.

Essential The Senior Manager, Supply Chain will oversee Ritual’s supply planning operations, including inventory management, procurement, order management, warehousing, and logistics. We’re looking for a collaborative leader who is both strategic and hands-on, willing to dive into the details while keeping a visionary perspective. The ideal candidate is analytical, entrepreneurial, and thrives in a dynamic, constantly evolving environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead supply chain strategy: Develop and execute supply plans that support our business goals, balancing sales objectives with financial considerations.
  • Procurement and purchasing: Manage the purchase order process for finished goods, ensuring materials are delivered on time to meet production schedules.
  • Problem-solving: Identify and proactively address supply chain disruptions or delays, working across the organization to facilitate swift resolutions.
  • Collaborate with partners: Partner with contract manufacturers to prioritize production and monitor capacity limitations to avoid bottlenecks.
  • Oversee logistics: Manage 3PL providers, ensuring that customer expectations are met with timely shipments and high service standards.
  • Data management: Oversee the creation and maintenance of master data for supply chain operations.
  • Inventory oversight: Ensure inventory availability for wholesale orders and that shipments are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Continuous improvement: Look for opportunities to enhance, standardize, and automate planning processes for increased efficiency.

Who You Are:

  • Multitasker: You’re comfortable managing multiple projects at different levels of complexity simultaneously.
  • Resilient: You approach challenges with a positive attitude and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and can pivot quickly to meet changing business needs.
  • Analytical: You’re data-driven, using both quantitative and qualitative information to inform decisions that have an impact.
  • Collaborative: You value relationships and work well with diverse teams, fostering a culture of mutual respect, trust, and shared success.
  • Initiative-driven: You’re proactive, able to anticipate problems and take steps to address them without needing direction.
  • Inclusive leader: You create a sense of belonging within your team, ensuring everyone feels valued, empowered, and heard.

What You'll Need:

  • 10+ years of experience in supply/inventory planning and purchasing in the consumer-packaged goods industry (supplement experience is a plus but not required).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role, with a demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams.
  • Experience managing 3PL providers and optimizing logistics operations.
  • Prior experience implementing or enhancing ERP systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
  • A solid understanding of inventory accounting practices.
