Business Operations Associate Role

We know that Business Operations teams can take on many forms. At Hive, our Business Operations team is a centralized team tackling challenges that are of highest priority that often require discretion and flawless execution. The Business Operations Associate will work directly with the CEO to own high priority projects that impact product development and user experience. Day to day, you will work on process improvements and execute on processes that can be sometimes monotonous but help move our products forward. You will be expected to solve the toughest business challenges through data analysis, strategic analysis, and process and optimization analysis. Our Business Operations team is a full-service special forces team that is willing to do anything and everything needed to move the business forward. The core objective is to be the right hand to our CEO, and handle whatever problems and tasks that are sent our way.

Responsibilities

• Monitor company’s financial standing by following numbers and metrics
• Assist the Executive Team in executing operational and strategic initiatives
• Be the operations lead in managing and delivering client projects when needed
• Design and manage the business and operational systems and processes that help our products move forward
• Help identify and implement new opportunities that grow Hive’s business
• Ensure that management sees easily actionable core metrics for all projects and products
• Pitch in during key project deployments wherever needed for successful delivery of products and solutions
• Maintenance handling as it relates to your role
• Adhere to policies, guidelines and procedures pertaining to the protection of information assets
• Report actual or suspected security and/or policy violations/breaches to an appropriate authority

Requirements

• You have a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline from a well-known 4-year university. Minimum 3.5 GPA
• You have 0-2 years of work experience
• You take initiative to direct your own days, identify worthwhile projects, and take actionable steps to accomplish goals
• You are energetic, resourceful and do what it takes to get the job done
• You are hungry to learn and you actively look for opportunities to contribute
• You are highly organized and detail-oriented; you can handle multiple projects and dynamic priorities without missing a beat
