Vice President - Product

*About the position: *
The VP of Product will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities, including product development, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. This individual will lead and manage a tech/product team of at least 25 people, ensuring that our engineering processes and products meet rigorous medical device standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the product team in the design, development, and validation of medical devices, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.).
2. Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and systems to ensure product reliability and safety.
3. Develop and execute engineering strategies that align with business objectives and drive product innovation.
4. Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept through commercialization, ensuring timely and successful product launches.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.
6. Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
7. Ensure adherence to quality management systems and regulatory guidelines throughout the engineering process.
8. Stay current with industry trends and advancements to inform engineering strategies and practices.
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation.
