Your future position..
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Gasoline Trading Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of gasoline markets and blending operations to provide actionable insights, develop advanced analytics tools, and enhance market understanding for our clients. Your expertise in gasoline blending will play a key role in building and optimizing tools that calculate blend values, arbitrages across regions.
Your mission is to:
- Market Analysis and Insights: Analyse gasoline market trends, including supply-demand, pricing, and refining margins.
- Tool Development: Use your gasoline blending experience to build tools that compute blend values across different regions. Iterate on these values to model arbitrage opportunities.
- Client Engagement and Feedback: Collect and integrate feedback from clients and prospects to refine tools and insights.
- Collaboration and Market Presence: Collaborate with internal teams to showcase gasoline market insights during client meetings. Collaborate with our Partnerships teams to gather the relevant data.
It will be a match if you are or have:
- Extensive experience as a Light Ends Analyst, Gasoline Blending Operator, Refinery Planner or Trader.
- Deep understanding of gasoline markets and blending operations, including supply chains, pricing, blending economics and physical arbitrages.
- Strong technical skills in Excel (exposure SQL, Python and BI software for data analysis and tool development would be advantageous).
- You are skilled at carrying out complex analysis across multiple datasets using appropriate tools.
- Experience translating data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with clients and internal teams.
