About the job

EverQuote is looking for an exceptional individual to join as Associate Director, Business Development to develop the strongest carrier relationships in our industry, raising the bar with our insurance carrier partners and internal stakeholders. This person will be tasked with driving revenue growth across a book of business in line with company wide growth goals, while working to change the perception from Everquote as a marketing company to a strategic growth partner. The successful candidate will have experience working with high-growth, data-driven account management teams.

What you'll do:

  • Drive revenue through key account growth, meeting or exceeding all growth targets and performance metrics
  • Contribute to a strong team culture of accountability, transparency, and data driven decision making
  • Develop and own the strategy for accelerating the growth across your portfolio of accounts
  • Develop a deep understanding of our product messaging, technology platform and competitive landscape
  • Support an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to communicate the needs of EverQuote’s largest customers
  • Build excellent working relationships with key business leaders, colleagues, and broader teams across the organization
  • Engage with customers to uncover their pain points, providing feedback internally to help prioritize the functionality needed to drive account growth opportunities
  • Bring a growth mindset to the team while continually driving accountability, trust, and integrity
  • Effectively communicates, formally and informally, up and down the organization
  • Help to move deals across the line with the help of cross-functional teams

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of enterprise account management
  • Experience analyzing commercial performance metrics and summarizing insights to drive organizational change
  • Experience managing and growing an enterprise book of business
  • Significant experience directly managing senior client relationships
  • Deep comfort with Excel & Powerpoint
  • Exceptional credibility with previous team members and organizations
  • Strong track record of decisiveness and accountability in previous roles
  • Experience working with Property & Casualty Insurance preferred
