Role Overview:
We are seeking a QA Engineer with 2-5 years of experience to ensure the quality of our trading platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automated testing within fintech or trading environments.
Qualifications:
2-5 years of quality assurance experience, preferably in fintech or trading.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Expert in Java; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual & Automated Testing: Conduct thorough manual and automated testing, including performance and regression testing.
- API Testing: Verify API functionality, performance, and security; understand various HTTP codes and use tools like Postman and RestAssured.
- Cross-Browser & Multi-Device Testing: Ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices; leverage browser developer tools for testing and debugging.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases and results; provide regular reports on test progress, results, and defects.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and product teams to resolve issues and ensure quality standards.
Technical Skills:
- Familiarity with browser storage, cache, and cookies.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) and debugging skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of automation testing libraries.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of financial systems and applications.
