Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Quality Assurance (QA) with extensive experience in the web3 and DeFi space to lead our QA department. This senior role involves owning the entire QA function, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the highest quality standards across all products. As the Head of QA, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, implement cutting-edge testing methodologies, and foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive testing frameworks, including automated testing for smart contracts and blockchain protocols.
• Establish and monitor QA metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to track the quality and performance of all products.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of QA processes into the development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and mitigate risks related to product quality, performance, and security.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency, effectiveness, and coverage.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web3, blockchain, and DeFi technologies to ensure the QA practices remain at the cutting edge.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of QA experience in commercial development, specializing in web3, financial technology, and DeFi.
• Deep understanding of testing theory, methodologies, and best practices, including Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, and Compatibility Testing.
• Extensive experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with testing smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum, Polkadot, or Solana.
• Strong knowledge of blockchain technologies, distributed systems, and cryptographic principles.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
