About the job

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Sales Intern to join our team. As a Sales Intern, you will play a key role in identifying potential customers, establishing initial communication, and onboarding them to our platform. This position offers hands-on experience in sales outreach and customer relationship management, providing a unique opportunity to develop essential skills in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Building Potential Customer Lists
    1. Research and identify potential companies and businesses that align with our target market.
    2. Build and maintain a comprehensive database of potential leads.
  2. Identifying Key Stakeholders:
    1. Conduct research to find the key decision-makers or stakeholders in target companies.
    2. Identify relevant contacts such as owners, managers, or executives who can benefit from our platform.
  3. Initial Communication & Outreach:
    1. Initiate communication with identified stakeholders via email, LinkedIn, or other appropriate channels.
    2. Provide an introduction and brief overview of our product/services, highlighting key benefits.
  4. Scheduling Calls:
    1. Engage with interested prospects and set up meetings or calls to further discuss their needs and how our platform can address them.
    2. Coordinate schedules to ensure smooth handoffs between prospects and senior sales team members.
  5. Onboarding Customers:
    1. Guide potential customers through the onboarding process and assist them in signing up on our platform.
    2. Provide basic training or product demos to help them understand and get started with the platform.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Research skills to identify and connect with key stakeholders.
  • Basic understanding of sales processes and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
  • Self-driven and goal-oriented with a passion for building relationships.

This internship will provide hands-on experience in business development and sales outreach, offering the chance to gain valuable skills in the fast-paced world of B2B sales.
