The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic Partnerships Manager with a passion for education technology to drive our growth within the higher education sector across Canada and the United States. This role is pivotal in building meaningful relationships that will have a lasting impact on education.
As a key member of our team, you'll work closely with our CEO in an innovative startup environment where your ideas matter. With the flexibility of a fully remote position and the autonomy to excel, you'll balance personal and professional growth while contributing to a mission that makes a real difference.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, develop, and expand partnerships with higher education institutions in Canada and the U.S.
- Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies and relationship management.
- Market Expansion: Leverage your connections within the higher education system to unlock new opportunities.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including administrators and decision-makers.
- Presentations and Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and demos that address client needs and showcase our innovative AI solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to inform strategy.
- CRM Management: Utilize CRM tools to manage your sales pipeline and track progress.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and product teams to align efforts with company goals.
- Event Participation: Attend industry conferences (estimated 3-7 per year) to build relationships and secure deals.
- Innovation and Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, contributing ideas and embracing multiple roles.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of proven success in sales or partnerships, preferably in EdTech or the education sector.
- Sales Acumen: Strong track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM systems and a keen interest in AI and educational technology.
- Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
- U.S. Higher Ed Experience: Experience or strong connections with the U.S. education system is a bonus.
- Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
