Job Summary:
As the Online Sales Head, you will lead the strategy and execution for all online sales channels, with a strong focus on direct-to-consumer (D2C) and e-commerce including quick commerce. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth through online platforms, optimizing the digital customer experience, and overseeing e-commerce sales operations. You will play a crucial role in launching and scaling the prebiotic soda brand across digital channels, leveraging data analytics, and creating effective online marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement comprehensive D2C and e-commerce sales strategies.
· Drive online revenue growth through D2C platforms and marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
· Collaborate with digital marketing teams to optimize SEO, SEM, paid campaigns, and performance marketing to drive traffic and conversions.
· Analyze customer data and market trends to refine sales strategies, enhance customer acquisition, and increase retention.
· Build relationships with e-commerce platforms and manage key accounts to ensure optimal product placement and promotions.
· Monitor and report key e-commerce metrics, including conversion rates, customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
· Collaborate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment and delivery.
· Stay updated with e-commerce and digital trends to ensure the brand remains competitive in the market.
Key Competencies required:
· Qualification: Bachelor's degree; MBA or other relevant qualifications preferred
· 5+ years of experience in e-commerce or D2C sales in the FMCG or beverage industry
· Proven track record of driving growth through online channels
· Expertise in using analytics tools to track and improve online sales performance
· Experience working with digital marketing teams to execute sales strategies
· Ability to manage multiple e-commerce platforms and navigate the D2C space
· Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
· Experience in a startup environment is a plus
· Prior experience in launching new products in a digital-first environment is preferred
