The Opportunity
MongoDB continues to grow incredibly fast. This is the perfect opportunity to have a positive impact at a hyper-growth company. In this high impact role, you will work closely with executives and internal functions including Sales, Sales Operations, Sales Analytics, Deal Desk, Business Systems, Finance and Accounting, and HR to improve and establish processes and systems for our next stage of growth.
This role seats within a newly created team which will link our sales strategy and our sales commission. This team will be under the global sales commission umbrella, in our Finance and Accounting organization. In this role, you will be responsible to provide analytical analyses and administrative support for compensation programs. Specifically, you will be responsible for contributing to the planning, design and reporting of sales performance metrics, driving the business forward by contributing to improving our sales productivity.
We are looking to speak to candidates who are based in Gurugram for our hybrid working model.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal skills - adopts a hypothesis-driven approach and open to feedback in an ever-evolving business environment
- Highly effective communicator who can break down convoluted technical concepts into company business terms and KPIs
- Can work independently on analytics assignment and derive actionable insights from the data; capable of coordinating with the relevant stakeholders as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative focus (Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, etc.)
- 6~8 years of work experience in Consulting/Sales Strategy/Sales Analytics
- Proficient in SQL and Python
- Strong Spreadsheets capabilities, can easily manipulate and analyze large datasets
- Experience with at least one major business intelligence tool (Tableau, Google Data Studio, Looker)
- Salesforce experience is preferred
- BA/BS; MBA is preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide analyses on large datasets and ad-hoc audits to support business programs
- You will be responsible for contributing to designing, developing and maintaining processes necessary to build knowledge and insights into our core business model KPIs and sales Incentive compensation plans
- Analyze sales performance data, and partner with Sales Operations, Business Operations, and Commissions team to ensure incentives are paid accurately
- Perform periodic audits on sales and develop processes to drive automation efforts
- Deliver visibility tools to improve sales incentive effectiveness and enhance dashboard visualizations
- Maintain collaborations with key business partners within Sales, Finance and HR
- Act as sales performance subject matter expert to support sales enablement and ad-hoc exception cases
