Manager of Operations

Job Title: Manager, 3PL

At Mystery Tackle Box, we're searching for a Manager of our warehouse and production planning to lead our teams into a new era of growth! This person will be the primary interface between our internal business unit teams and third-party logistics providers (3PL), striving to enhance sales and inventory turns while minimizing operational costs. This role involves working closely with 3PL to coordinate all inbound and outbound flows, minimizing delivery timelines, improving monthly revenue, and achieving KPIs agreed upon with customers and internal stakeholders.

How You'll Help Us:
Review forecasts, sales orders, supply, and inventory availability daily to work with Planning, order management, and 3PL to manage resources to cover demand and increase daily sales.
Maintain and review warehouse and distribution requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Oversee kitting operations for direct-to-consumer products and retail products, ensuring that all kits are assembled accurately and efficiently to meet customer expectations.
Deploy warehouse, kitting, and distribution processes to fulfill stakeholder requirements, including inbound, warehousing, outbound, and reporting.
Optimize kitting workflows to enhance productivity while maintaining quality and accuracy in the assembly process.
Ensure compliance with existing contracts and agreed way of working with 3PL (Warehouse, transport, customs) by important metric and structured business reviews.
Run 3PL costs according to budget and agreed performance levels.
Achieve and drive cost, performance, and quality improvements within warehousing, kitting, and distribution for assigned 3PL locations.
Resolve 3PL problems (e.g., capacity, performance, complaints) in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Anticipate and handle operational risks, ensuring all operational parameters are met. Communicate risks to the organization.

Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Relevant qualifications and over 7 years of experience in distribution management, operations, or logistics.
Experience leading and operating distribution centers and managing 3PLs.
Experience with kitting operations within a direct-to-consumer business model.
Experience with supply chain systems such as WMS, SAP TMS, and reporting tools.
Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Be able to foster an environment of teamwork and cooperation.
Proven track record using analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze data and present business recommendations to CommScope senior management and 3PL.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
