Power BI Developer

KEY DUTIES:
• Develop deep understanding of data processing from all systems sourcing our reporting (ERP, CRM, DW, Cube) Systems.

• Work with departmental managers to determine needs and apply / customize existing technology to meet those needs.
• Create/Migrate existing reports to Power BI Report or SSRS Server or other production system reporting tools.
• Designs and develops reporting solutions in Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, or other reporting tools based on business requirements.
• Works closely with data owners and VP of Technology to drive requirements to completion. Works closely with Power BI report users to tune and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Evaluates business requirements and processes to provide possible solutions and accurate estimates for development efforts. Assist with DBA or System Administrators with recommendations for building Data Analytics enterprise models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across teams concisely and effectively.

KEY REQUIREMENTS AND ATTRIBUTES:
• Bachelors in CS,MIS, or related; Prefer Bachelors in Data Science/Analytics
• 5+ years of full SDLC lifecycle BI Experience.

• 3+ years working with ERP/CRM Data Models; Prefer Microsoft GP Dynamics and Salesforce (Sales/Service)
• Must have in depth knowledge of PowerBI, stored procedures, SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services
(SSRS), and proven ability to quickly learn new reporting tools.
• Proven ability to operate independently and produce results
