Backend Developer 2-4 yrs (Node.js | MongoDB | AWS/GCP)

What You’ll Do:

Work with the core team to design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Node.js and MongoDB.
Architect and optimize the backend to handle high-traffic environments.
Manage hosting and infrastructure using GCP and AWS, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement, test, and maintain APIs and services that seamlessly integrate with our web and mobile applications.
Solve complex problems by developing efficient algorithms and data structures.
Collaborate closely with the product, frontend, and mobile teams to build new features and improve existing ones.
Monitor and troubleshoot issues in a live production environment, ensuring system reliability.
Continuously evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve our backend stack.

Who You Are:

2-5 years of experience working as a backend developer, preferably in a startup environment.
Proven experience building and scaling systems to handle millions of users.
Expert-level proficiency in Node.js and MongoDB.
Strong understanding of cloud services, including AWS and/or GCP for deploying scalable applications.
Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills for backend services in high-traffic environments.
Ability to take ownership of projects, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
