About the role
Your role as a Merchant Success Manager is to help high-growth, high-volume merchants be successful. You’ll do this through -
(1) developing strong relationships with your merchants
(2) helping them with long-term solutions to their business roadblocks
Ultimately, you’re here to understand their goals, and advise them on the best way to achieve those goals. Which means you need to have experience in ecommerce & retail in prior Merchandising or Category roles.
What you’ll bring
Merchandising or Category experience is a must.
You have gone through these problems before, so you are closest to the merchant's business needs.
A deep understanding of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Bigcommerce, Magento
Understanding of ecommerce best practices. Knowledge of the ecommerce ecosystem. There are many moving parts and you need to see how they fit together.
Experience working with multiple stakeholders.
What you’ll do
Help merchants grow their ecommerce business - actually impact their revenue
Point out areas for improvement, including opportunities for product adoption and implementing new Mason solutions
Work with internal teams to advocate for merchants’ needs and requests
Demonstrate an in depth understanding of industry trends
