Lucivia has a fantastic cloud-based technology that solves a big problem in the analytics and data visualization space. The data processing and analytics platform is a no-sql data processing solution that accomplishes a task that once took hours, to a few minutes. The capability addresses a recognized gap by data engineers and analysts who work in our Nation's largest corporations. The seed investors are partners at two of the largest management consulting firms. In a nutshell, Lucivia provides a safe data processing playground that enables a fast, low-cost iteration capability required to start an analysis.
The underlying technology delivers a unique capability. It is the only project-specific data processing technology that gets the user to the singly correct data model for purposes of completing an analysis. It is the only product that eliminates "event-biased" findings prevalent in dashboards around the world. Our process combines data with what we call "co-data" to generate a balanced data model that delivers a correct and accurate analysis.
Most business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools can combine and process data. The problem is the tools are clumsy (easy to make mistakes), awkward (challenging to work with), and don't include any intelligence that ensures the user "gets it right."
There are three potential market access points:
- Enterprise customers with data engineers motivated to offer the service to their end-users
- Integrate the technology with other BI and data visualization companies
- Individual analysts and data scientists
Lucivia has a great product. I have yet to figure out how to reach the market beyond recruiting feedback during our design process.
Lucivia is looking for a person who wants to own a technology in its pre-launch phase. You know how to build a profitable capability for reaching and growing a customer base. Your other attributes include a passion for how technology can empower people to be that much smarter and successful.
