Lucivia is a pre-revenue startup founded by Edmund Cape, a management consultant, scientist, and software engineer. I established Lucivia to address a challenge that my colleagues and I encountered while conducting advanced analyses to support the marketing and sales operations of our pharmaceutical clients.

Lucivia was inspired to address a critical gap in the data-processing loop at the point where project-specific analysis meets actionable insights. With a deep background in advanced analytics and a clear understanding of the complexities involved in data-driven decision-making, I saw the need for a platform that could guide analysts through the process of combining ad hoc data sources into the single-correct data model. Getting the data right sooner means fewer late nights and more time to develop insights and instincts for the business.

More about the technology
Most business intelligence (BI) and data visualization tools can combine and process data. The problem is the tools are clumsy (easy to make mistakes), awkward (challenging to work with), and don't include any intelligence that ensures the user "gets it right."

Lucivia's data processing and analytics platform is a no-sql solution that accomplishes a task that once took hours, to a few minutes. The capability addresses a recognized gap by data engineers and analysts who work in our Nation's largest corporations. In a nutshell, Lucivia provides a safe data processing playground that enables a fast, low-cost iteration capability required to start an analysis.
