Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Developer with a strong background in the education industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of pitching and securing contracts with educational institutions, such as tutoring centers and universities. This individual will play a critical role in driving the growth of our business by building relationships and securing partnerships to help organizations understand and utilize alumni data and implement mentorship programs.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential clients within the education industry, including tutoring centers, universities, and other educational organizations.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
- Pitch Huddle's platform to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of understanding alumni data and implementing mentorship programs.
- Secure contracts and partnerships with educational institutions to help them utilize our platform for alumni data enrichment and mentorship programs.
- Conduct strong cold outreach to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of potential clients.
- Leverage existing contacts within the education industry to create new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of our platform's solutions.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and progress toward targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the education industry.
- Proven track record of securing contracts and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Strong network of contacts within the education sector, particularly in tutoring centers and universities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct effective cold outreach and build relationships with potential clients.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
