Our current project involves converting AutoCAD drawings to GIS ArcGIS layered outputs, ensuring compliance with infrastructure domain regulations.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled GIS Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting AutoCAD drawings to GIS ArcGIS layered outputs, maintaining and updating existing drawings, and developing new drawings as needed. The candidate should be knowledgeable about regulations and compliance in the infrastructure domain.

Key Responsibilities:
• Convert AutoCAD drawings to GIS ArcGIS layered outputs.
• Maintain, update, and develop new drawings as required.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the infrastructure domain.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of GIS data.
• Utilize GIS software and tools to perform spatial analysis and data management.
• Create and maintain metadata and documentation for GIS datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS data and software.
• Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in converting AutoCAD drawings to GIS ArcGIS formats.
• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, and other relevant tools.
• Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance standards in the infrastructure domain.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data conversion and management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot GIS-related issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with GIS data analysis and spatial analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages for GIS automation.
• Knowledge of remote sensing and photogrammetry.
