PLEASE NOTE: we're currently bootstrapped, so this role will start out as an unpaid role, before transitioning into a paid one once we've secured our investment. We plan to offer a salary within the range of $24-30k per year, once we've secured the investment.

About the Role

Join us as a Product Designer and seize the opportunity to shape the future of entrepreneurship support worldwide. As a pivotal member of our agile, remote team, you will lead the design direction of our app, from research and concept to implementation. Your autonomy and expertise will be central as you collaborate closely with our Lead Engineer and Product Visionary. We're seeking a passionate individual who thrives on blending product design with frontend development—a role where creativity meets technical innovation and implementation.

As a Product Designer at Edventures, you will...

...design and prototype user interfaces for our web and mobile applications, collaborating closely with our Lead Engineer and Product Visionary. You will be pivotal in delivering a seamless, user-centric app experience, to ensure that we build something valuable for the customer and end users
...continuously conduct user testing and engaging with our Discord community to get feedback and perspectives from our users, to learn how we can design a better user experience
...translate your designs into responsive and visually appealing interfaces for our web application, native applications, as well as our website and other elements where we might need visual materials
...develop and maintain a clean, scalable, and modular codebase, ensuring high-quality app performance and stability through efficient coding best practices.
...continuously stay up to date and learn about the latest developments in product and mobile app design, actively exploring new best practices and insights that could enhance our app
...seamlessly work between designing and coding our interfaces, to ensure smooth functionality across different devices and platforms, enhancing the overall user experience.

...familiar with HTML and CSS
...comfortable with version control tools like GitHub, or motivated to learn them.
