Senior Front-End Engineer

TODAQ is hiring senior front-end and mobile developers with 7+ years experience in both enterprise and consumer front-end product development. Functional programming experience is an asset. Experience in mobile development, as well as full-stack debugging is necessary.

We prefer to work with "full stack" engineers in the sense of CPU architecture/database layer/network stack/renderer, rather than someone who's deeply vested in the front end frameworks du jour.

Our product teams work very independently with little external guidance or requirements documents and are required to anticipate and respond to potential users' needs.

We used to be fully on-site, but we've gotten used to the remote vibe over the last few years, and plan to continue as a primarily remote team. We do have space in downtown Toronto for in-person meetings, but remain open to others somewhat out-of-area.

We are well-funded by both private capital and integration partners.

Salaries vary strongly by degree of experience and ability to lead engineering teams. We're willing to consider very strong junior candidates at lower salaries.

Absolutely no recruiters. Recruiters will be first ignored, then declined with prejudice. We’re building something peer-to-peer: we don’t need a gumption trap in the middle. If your candidate is so spectacular, they’ll find us themselves.
