About the team:
The insights team is a new function within Goodnotes, being set up in an effort to centralize quantitative and qualitative research insights and capabilities within one team, providing a clean and steady flow of data. This team will be responsible for looking at things like feature adoption and retention as well as streamlining research processes. The insights derived by this team will be very influential to product strategy across Goodnotes.
About the role:
This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:
- Manage a team of analysts, engineers and researchers
- Leading the team to develop and deliver big data analytics and visualizing solutions for stakeholders
- Turning insights into actionable product decisions
- Seting up good data foundations to empower leadership, product and business teams on insights
- Setting up a centralized research backlog with an overview across quantitative and qualitative
- Boosting our research capabilities by coordinating the analysts within the team
- Collaborating with engineering and design to implement / onboard tooling for data pipeline and product analytics
- Creating and advocating for a data driven culture within Goodnotes
- Setting up a tech stack for the team to work with
The skills you will need to be successful in the above:
- 10+ years of experience in an insights role, focusing on both quantitative and qualitative research
- Solid experience turning research into actionable business insights and outcomes
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or Java
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Google DataStudio, or Power BI
- Experience in research triangulation
- Experience managing a team of three or more
- Good understanding of prominent tooling for data pipeline and product analytics
- Strong communication, cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
