About the Role
Join our ambitious and dynamic team at TOKEN2049 as Legal Assistant, where you will be tasked with providing comprehensive legal support to the business. With this opportunity, you will have the chance to play a critical role in ensuring the company’s legal and contractual needs are met.
Responsibilities
- Contract Review and Drafting: Review and draft legal contracts and agreements, ensuring they are in the company’s best interest, and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Legal Correspondence: Prepare and manage legal correspondence and communications with event partners & sponsors, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Event Management: Assist with the organization and execution of our events, including negotiating contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers while ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Administrative and Statutory Support: Assist with the management of the company’s legal and statutory records, ensuring that all necessary documents are filed with the appropriate government agencies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up-to-date with international laws and regulations related to the crypto and blockchain industry and ensure the company is in compliance with all applicable laws.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Law, Compliance or related discipline.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing legal contracts and agreements, demonstrating a solid understanding of legal language and terminology.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy, structure, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent English verbal and communication skills
- At least 3+ years of experience in a legal setting, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of legal processes and procedures.
- Experience within the crypto and blockchain industry is a plus
